Friends of Lyrico - Sherwood Park's New Adult Choir!
Friends of Lyrico is a non-auditioned adult community choir for anyone who wants to sing, connect with others and enjoy making music together. No previous choir experience is needed! If you love to sing, you are welcome here.
Our goal is to create a relaxed environment where members can enjoy being part of a choir without the pressure of a demanding rehearsal schedule. While Friends of Lyrico is designed to be a relaxed and accommodating choral environment, it is also dedicated to creating an excellent level of quality music together.

Current Friends of Lyrico members can access rehearsal resources using the button below. You'll find practice recordings for each voice part of the music we're currently working on, along with our most recent seating chart. We do our best to keep these resources up to date so you can practise at home and feel prepared for rehearsals.

Membership & Fee Information
Friends of Lyrico runs from September through May, with members registering for the full nine-month season. Membership fees cover costs including facility rental, staff wages and supplies. A portion of the proceeds also supports youth programming for the Lyrico Youth Choirs Association, so your membership helps create opportunities for the next generation of singers too.
Members may choose to:
Pay Monthly: Nine monthly instalments of $50
Pay in Full: One payment of $450
Payment Methods
Payment may be made by e-transfer, cheque or credit card.
E-transfer: send to Pam White at lyricoyouthchoirs@gmail.com. Please indicate what the payment is for in the message of your e-transfer so funds can be allocated correctly.
Cheque: make payable to Lyrico Youth Choirs Association
Credit Card: Credit-card payments can be made online through an invoice if that option is selected.
Credit-card payments are subject to an additional processing fee intended to offset eligible transaction costs. Any surcharge applied will not exceed the amount permitted under applicable credit-card rules. Please refer to your invoice for the exact amount due, including any applicable processing fee.

The Wittenberg Scholarship
The Wittenberg family created a scholarship in honour of their daughter Stephanie who was killed in a tragic car accident. Stephanie was a member of the Lyrico Youth Choirs (formerly Elk Island Regional Honour Choir Association) who loved music and singing. The scholarship is used to fully or partially offset the cost of registration for families who may have difficulty paying.
We want Friends of Lyrico to be accessible to everyone who shares a love of singing. If you are in need of financial assistance, please contact us to make a request.
