For more than 40 years, Lyrico Youth Choirs has been enriching the lives of young people through exceptional choral music, meaningful friendships, and unforgettable experiences. As a non-profit organization, we work hard to keep registration fees as affordable as possible while providing high-quality musical education and performance opportunities.

Upcoming Fundraisers

Fundraising is an important part of every season at Lyrico. The funds we raise help keep choir affordable for families while allowing us to provide exceptional musical experiences that enrich the lives of our choristers.

50/50 Draws

Every one of our major concerts features a 50/50 draw, giving audience members another fun opportunity to support the choir while having the chance to win.

$1000 Raffle

Our annual raffle will return at our Sounds of Spring concert on May 31, 2027 with a guaranteed $1,000 prize. Only 500 tickets will be available, giving everyone an excellent chance to win while supporting the choir.

Support Lyrico Youth Choirs without leaving home!

SkipTheDepot will pick up your refundable bottles and cans right from your doorstep, and you can choose to donate the refund to Lyrico.

Rehearsal Night Bottle Drives

If you prefer to drop off your bottles in person, Lyrico also hosts three bottle drives each season after major holidays. Simply bring your refundable bottles and cans to rehearsal, and we'll take care of the rest.

Every donation helps us continue providing outstanding musical experiences for young singers.

A collection truck will be in the parking lot from 5:45 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on the following dates:

October 19 (after Thanksgiving)
January 4 (after the Christmas holidays)
April 5 (after Easter)

It's an easy way for choir families to support Lyrico while dropping off or picking up their choristers.

Purdy's Chocolate Fundraiser

Christmas and chocolate are the perfect combination!

We're excited to partner with Purdy's Chocolatier for our Christmas fundraiser this season. Whether you're shopping for stocking stuffers, hostess gifts, teacher appreciation, or simply treating yourself, every purchase helps support Lyrico Youth Choirs.

Our online fundraiser will launch this fall, just in time for the holiday season. We'll share all the ordering details as soon as they're available, so be sure to check back or follow us on social media for updates.

Purdy's has been crafting premium Canadian chocolates for over 100 years, and their fundraising program makes it easy to support local organizations like us while crossing a few names off your Christmas shopping list.

Become a Friend of Lyrico

We're excited to explore the launch of Friends of Lyrico, a community choir designed for alumni, parents, and adults who simply love to sing while helping support the future of Lyrico Youth Choirs.

The vision is to rehearse for approximately one hour every second week in Sherwood Park, learning a small selection of music to perform alongside our Junior and Senior Choirs at one or two concerts each season. Membership would be $50 per month, with fees covering rehearsal space, director compensation, and providing ongoing financial support for Lyrico's youth choir programs.

We're also excited about the opportunity to engage an emerging choral conductor from the Edmonton area, creating a valuable professional development opportunity while helping foster the next generation of artistic leaders.

To make Friends of Lyrico sustainable, we'll need at least 15 singers to join the choir. With enough members, this program will not only create a welcoming space for adults to continue enjoying the many benefits of choral singing, but also provide meaningful financial support for the Junior and Senior Choirs for years to come.
