For more than 40 years, Lyrico Youth Choirs has been enriching the lives of young people through exceptional choral music, meaningful friendships, and unforgettable experiences. As a non-profit organization, we work hard to keep registration fees as affordable as possible while providing high-quality musical education and performance opportunities.

This group is open to anyone 18+ who loves to sing. Friends of Lyrico offers a way for those with busy lives to be part of a choir community, and financially support our youth choirs.

Fundraising is an important part of every season at Lyrico. The funds we raise help keep choir affordable for families while allowing us to provide exceptional musical experiences that enrich the lives of our choristers.

50/50 Draws

Every one of our major concerts features a 50/50 draw, giving audience members another fun opportunity to support the choir while having the chance to win.

​

$1000 Raffle

Our annual raffle will return at our Sounds of Spring concert on May 31, 2027 with a guaranteed $1,000 prize. Only 500 tickets will be available, giving everyone an excellent chance to win while supporting the choir.

Turn Your Bottles Into Music

Support Lyrico Youth Choirs without leaving home!

 

SkipTheDepot will pick up your refundable bottles and cans right from your doorstep, and you can choose to donate the refund to Lyrico.

​

  3. Schedule a pickup that works for you.

  4. Leave your bags outside by 8:00 a.m. on pickup day. You don't need to be home.

Rehearsal Night Bottle Drives

If you prefer to drop off your bottles in person, Lyrico also hosts three bottle drives each season after major holidays. Simply bring your refundable bottles and cans to rehearsal, and we'll take care of the rest.

Every donation helps us continue providing outstanding musical experiences for young singers.

A collection truck will be in the parking lot from 5:45 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on the following dates:

  • October 19 (after Thanksgiving)

  • January 4 (after the Christmas holidays)

  • April 5 (after Easter)

It's an easy way for choir families to support Lyrico while dropping off or picking up their choristers.

Purdy's Chocolate Fundraiser

Christmas and chocolate are the perfect combination!

​

We're excited to partner with Purdy's Chocolatier for our Christmas fundraiser this season. Whether you're shopping for stocking stuffers, hostess gifts, teacher appreciation, or simply treating yourself, every purchase helps support Lyrico Youth Choirs.

Growing Smiles Fundraiser

Bring a little extra colour and cheer home for the holidays!

We're excited to partner with Growing Smiles for our holiday plant fundraiser this season. Choose from beautiful poinsettias, holiday wreaths, festive greenery, planters and more, all while helping support Lyrico Youth Choirs.

Become a Friend of Lyrico

Friends of Lyrico is a welcoming adult community choir for anyone 18+ who loves to sing. No audition or previous choir experience is required. We’re here to enjoy making music together, meet new people and support Lyrico’s youth choir programs along the way.

Registration is $50 per month from September through May, with flexible payment options available. If you love to sing, we’d love to have you join us!
